Analisis Program Pendidikan Sanggar Genius bagi Anak Yatim dan Dhuafa di Laznas Yatim Mandiri

This article discusses the coaching that has been given to orphans and poor people in the form of educational programs called Sanggar GENIUS. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The research location in LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Yogyakarta at Jl. Ireda No. 119, Keparakan, Mergangsan, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The target of this program is orphans and poor people because one of the crucial problems between them is lack of attention to their education. The Sanggar GENIUS tutoring program is looking for a place in the area that is considered to be a lot of orphans and poor people, because this program is a mandate from donors who set aside part of their wealth to LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri. The following is a formulation of the problem that is useful for facilitating exposure. First, how is the implementation of the Studio GENIUS program at Yatim Mandiri Yogyakarta. Second, how are the forms of coaching carried out by GENIUS teachers during the learning process. The subject of the study was carried out by purposive method. The data source of this study was obtained from primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection instruments used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Check the validity of research data by triangulation. Data analysis in this study is in accordance with Miles and Huberman's model, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the Sanggar GENIUS program was held three times a week, where the assisted children of each Sanggar were guided by a GENIUS teacher. Forms of guidance carried out through the Sanggar GENIUS program are coaching in mathematics learning, mentoring independent learning, and morals.
